The health sector in Dubai is the center of this developmental and innovational drive that the UAE is witnessing across all fields thanks to the leadership of UAE President, H.H Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and H.H Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and H.H Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and their brothers their Highnesses Members of the Supreme Council, Rulers of the UAE.

From our country's outstanding development and from our city, Dubai, the Dubai Health Authority exerts all its efforts to achieve a first class health model by taking advantage of Dubai’s ideal investment environment especially, in the health field, which has been witnessing a steady growth over the years that has exceeded expectations. This growth is a reflection of Dubai’s unique position as a global destination for investors in the health field.

Hosting the 13th International Association of Medical Regulatory Authorities is a reflection of Dubai’s capabilities in being a home to such a prominent event.

The city of innovation, Dubai welcomes all conference participants, from leaders, policy makers to doctors and specialists to form an international one-of-a-kind platform where experiences and knowledge in the health field is exchanged.

On behalf of the International Association of Medical Regulatory Authorities (IAMRA), I am delighted to invite you to Dubai, UAE for IAMRA’s 2018 International Conference on Medical Regulation, taking place October 6-9, 2018. The theme of the conference is Empowering regulation with innovation and evidence.

IAMRA 2018 will provide an opportunity for medical and health regulators, policy makers, and academics to come together and share ideas and experiences. Sub-themes of the conference include: innovative regulatory models, medical workforce, safe practice and quality, and medical education. There will be plenty of opportunities for networking throughout the conference as well as a social program highlighting the culture of Dubai and its many delights.
